Refrigerators
Should you provide a refrigerator in your unit? I say it’s a lose-lose situation. When one broke, I would have to go and buy a refrigerator and plan to have it hauled to the unit. Also, when moving out, the tenant would sometimes take the refrigerator with them. So I told all my tenants that they could keep the ones in their apartments and from then on I would have the tenants supply their own refrigerators. My thought process was that a tenant that could supply their own is a little more financially stable and safer to rent to.
Get out of the refrigerator business!
