My name is Bob Ritchey and, along with my son Mike, we are The Ritchey Team.

We are Residential Income Property Specialists with Coldwell Banker Preferred, Realtors® in Bakersfield, California, which is the #1 Coldwell Banker office in California with over 130 agents.

Our goal is to help our Clients become more successful investors.

I truly believe that the best investment vehicle for individuals to become financially successful is residential income property.

Unlike almost all other investment vehicles, there are four different methods of creating yield (return on investment) with residential income property:

1. Cash Flow 2. Debt Reduction
3. Tax Benefits 4. Appreciation

We work with our Clients to help them maximize their yields in each of these areas.
The Ritchey Team has developed systems and strategies that will increase yields in all four areas of investing – creating both additional cash flow and equity build up (net worth).

I Would Like To Briefly Share Some of My Track Record With You

My educational background is that I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Education and taught high school math at West High School in Bakersfield for 14 years.  You will discover that I use my math and teaching skills as a major part of my real estate business.

I purchased my first residential income property in 1976 and have personally owned over 225 units.  I received my real estate sales license in 1977 and a broker’s license in 1980.  I have sold well over 1,000 residential income properties over the years. I have also owned two rental management companies.

I am the former owner of TGR Realty – Income Property Specialists. It was the only company in Bakersfield that sold residential income property exclusively.

I have been recognized by the National Association of Realtors®, an organization of over 1.4 million members, as a Top Performer.

In 2005, I founded the Win the Game of Money Institute.

I’m Mike Ritchey. I am a Bakersfield native.

I received my Associates Degree from the University of La Verne and am now working towards an accounting degree.

I’ve been involved in the residential income property industry for several years now. I have the good fortune of continuously learning more about the business from my father. Additionally, I have kept the accounting books and have overseen property responsibilities for my family which has given me financial and ownership insight about income properties. I’ve also worked at a professional property management company, which helped me to understand the management process.

As a Real Estate Agent, my focus now is to exclusively help real estate investors grow their portfolios for maximum yield and offer valuable information to ensure they are successful.
